Born and raised in India, Reshu has always been crazy and enthusiastic about art. After school education, she was destined to become a software engineer. Then, after her first baby, she realized that her mind and soul lies in making art. Since then, she has engaged herself in creating vivid and colorful still lives, landscapes, folk life, nature, abstracts, and portraits. She is currently based out in Northern Virginia/DC area and enjoying life with her husband and 2 kids. She shares her passion of art by teaching students at her art studio - both for beginners and advanced. She demonstrates various types of art forms including water color, acrylic, sketching, charcoal art, oil pastels, etc. Being a busy mother after a hectic day, she resorts to painting. It happens to be the most effective source of relaxation for her. She has been part of state level portrait competitions conducted by Art Space, Herndon (VA), exhibited at Public Art in Reston. Currently, she is the member of ‘League of Reston Artist’ and International Watercolor Society (IWS).
